Bastrop County Bar Association Vice President Caroline McClimon Joins Evans Law Group

Austin, Texas – The Evans Law Group is proud to announce the addition of Caroline A. McClimon to our team of experienced family law attorneys as a senior litigation associate.

Ms. McClimon has significant family law experience. Currently and joins the Evans Family Law Group, which has nearly 20 years of experience specializing in all aspects of family law, including divorce and support or custody issues, adoption, estate planning, and marriage planning.

Ms. McClimon was recently selected as a Texas 2019 “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers and is expected to qualify and sit to become board certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in the Fall 2019.  Once qualified, the Evans Family Law Group will represent two of the only three board certified attorneys in the practice of family law in Bastrop County, Texas.

Ms. McClimon holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Southern Methodist University, a JD degree from The University of Oklahoma College of Law and has been a member of the Texas Bar Association since 2009. Ms. McClimon has also previously worked in the office of U.S. Senator John Cornyn and has served as director and treasurer of the Smithville Chamber of Commerce and as director of the Smithville Noon Lions Club.

Caroline McClimon is the former president of the Bastrop County Bar Association and will join the Evans Family Law Group beginning April 15th, 2019.  The firm will maintain a Bastrop office, scheduled to open April 5th, 2019 located at 714 Chestnut Street, Bastrop, Texas 78602 in advance of the April 15th, 2019 merger.

Ms. McClimon is currently based in Smithville, practicing family law currently with Morris & McClimon Attorneys at Law, PLLC.  In addition to family law, she has significant experience in  estate planning and probate both, both simple and complex.
