At Evans Family Law Group, we are working to find a way to circulate information to our Bastrop County clients as quickly as we possibly can.
Just this morning, additional emergency orders were released regarding hearing and trial cancellations as well as emphasizing the clarification of the definition of “Spring Break” and returning the children / child as would otherwise normally occur, the virus concerns and school closings related to the virus notwithstanding or a parent withholding a child could be held in contempt of court.
For our clients impacted by these hearing and trial cancelations, please know that we are working very hard to re-schedule these hearings. Likewise, for those with mediations scheduled, we are arranging to have the mediations conducted electronically by video conferencing as an alternative so that mediations can still occur.
